Scooter Libby Indicted!!

on 5 counts including perjury, obstruction of justice, and false statements. Mr. Libby has served as the Chief of Staff for the Vice President Dick Cheney and has resigned from the post effective immediately. His resignation was accepted by the Bush administration.

For now, Karl Rove, the architect of the Bush's power from Texas to Washington, is off the hook contained in the indictment.

The special prosecutor, Patrick Fitzgerald, has stated that the investigation, however, is not over and will continue even as the statue for the grand jury termed ended as of today. It's not clear whether he will seek extension of grand jury's service. Also, is not clear is whether the special prosecutor will seek indictment of more senior officials of the Bush administration.
