Beyond the Blue Lagoon...

Everytime I see this picture, I am reminded of Moon River. I learned that the song was originally written for Audrey Hepburn, who at that time was not an accomplished vocalist. Thus, the composers had to write a song that accomodates within her vocal range.

For some reason, I cannot help but think about her. I wonder...

Scooter Libby Indicted!!

on 5 counts including perjury, obstruction of justice, and false statements. Mr. Libby has served as the Chief of Staff for the Vice President Dick Cheney and has resigned from the post effective immediately. His resignation was accepted by the Bush administration.

For now, Karl Rove, the architect of the Bush's power from Texas to Washington, is off the hook contained in the indictment.

The special prosecutor, Patrick Fitzgerald, has stated that the investigation, however, is not over and will continue even as the statue for the grand jury termed ended as of today. It's not clear whether he will seek extension of grand jury's service. Also, is not clear is whether the special prosecutor will seek indictment of more senior officials of the Bush administration.

The message from the White House to the Onions..stop using the Presidential seal! Apparently, Onion.com has been parodying president Bush with spoof weekly radio address. Some of the humors even got to the staffers at the White House where the spokesperson admitted that there were people in the White House who were amusing themselves with the site. USA Today was caught with photoshopping pictures of Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice by having her eyes pop out like a demon. Can you guys stop messing around with public figures in a childish way? This is ridiculous.
